Zoomies Reverse 50/50 Raffle Extravaganza
Join the Fun, Make a Difference!
At Zoomies Funny Farm, our motto is part of our mission, "Do good. Have fun." We focus on helping people help animals through innovative programs like spay/neuter assistance, Trap-Neuter-Return, and sponsorships for long-term shelter residents. Our efforts help tackle the root causes of animal overpopulation and provide meaningful solutions to improve the lives of animals and the people who love them. To accomplish our goals, we fundraise by producing fun merchandise and putting on events that bring entertainment to the community. This is a core part of our approach to doing good and having fun.
Now, we’re inviting you to be part of something extraordinary, a Reverse 50/50 Raffle supporting animal rescue!
What is the Reverse 50/50?
Why Participate?
- Do Good: Support a worthy cause with each ticket purchase, helping fund vital initiatives like spay/neuter and TNR programs that reduce animal homelessness and overpopulation.
- Have Fun: The Reverse 50/50 is more than a fundraiser—it’s a community event with a game-show like atmosphere! Join us for the live drawing, feel the energy in the room, connect with fellow participants, and enjoy the thrill of giving back.
- Make a Difference: By participating, you’re directly contributing to a brighter future for the community and animals in need. Together, we can enjoy ourselves while creating a ripple effect of compassion and care.
With your support, Zoomies can accomplish even more than we did last year. Every ticket sold in the Reverse 50/50 will help expand our programs, sponsor more adoptions, and bring us closer to a future where no animal is left behind.
Reverse 50/50 Raffle Explained
$50,000
Proceeds support Zoomies operations and programs including: Spay Neuter Assistance, TNR, Sponsored Pet Adoptions and more.
Phase 1: Ticket Sales
Tickets will be sold for $100 each, with a total of 500 tickets available, potentially generating $50,000. The event includes a consolation prize pool of $3,000, awarded to 10 winners at $300 each, and a grand prize of up to $22,000, given to the last ticket holder should the drawing proceed to the final ticket holder. Zoomies will benefit from $25,000 or more in net proceeds after prizes and event costs are calculated, promising to be both rewarding for participants and financially impactful for Zoomies. (Rules and Contingencies Apply.)
Phase 2: Initial Drawing
The event will take place in person with a live drawing attended by ticket holders and one guest, as space is limited. The process involves sequential draws, where tickets are pulled one at a time. Every 10th ticket drawn (e.g., 10th, 20th, 30th) is added to the Winners Circle. Consolation prizes of $300 are awarded to specific ticket holders, including the first ticket pulled and every 50th ticket thereafter (e.g., 51st, 101st, 151st). By the end of the initial drawing, 50 tickets will remain in the Winners Circle, qualifying for the Final Drawing. (Rules and Contingencies Apply.)
Phase 3: Final Drawing & Winners Circle
The final drawing will be conducted in person, and ticket holders must be present to cast their votes during the event. Each participant will receive two color-coded paddles (green for "yes" and red for "no") to vote on buyout offers. A single "no" vote will result in the continuation of the drawing, while all absent participants are automatically counted as "yes" votes.
During the final drawing, escalating buyout offers will be made to all remaining participants. If a buyout offer receives unanimous approval, the drawing ends, and all participants share the buyout amount. The remaining funds are retained by Zoomies, enhancing the fundraiser's success. If even one person votes "no," the drawing resumes, and tickets are eliminated until the next threshold is reached. If the drawing reaches the final two participants and one declines the buyout offer, the drawing continues, with the last ticket holder winning the $22,000 grand prize.
